Boseong Gun
With the heavenly natural environment surrounded by mountains, the sea and lakes, splendid cultural heritage of Boseong Pansori, the largest green tea plantation in Korea, royal azalea, Dinosaur Egg Fossil Site and Yulpo tourist site that combines a seawater green tea spa and seawater swimming pool, it has become a popular cultural, tourist and relaxing destination.
Also, since the completion of the Mokpo-Boseong-Gwangyang highway that connects between the Seohaean, Honam and Namhae highways, a smooth SOC has been established, and with the Boseong-Mokpo railroad and the Gyeongjeon Line (Seoul - Gwangju - Boseong - Busan) that connects between the Mokpo Daebul Industrial Complex, Gwangyang Iron and Yeocheon Industrial Complex, it has rapidly become a center of logistics and transportation. Also, Boseong is at the center of massive consumer markets in Gwangju, Mokpo and Suncheon.
